Insect screens are a useful blind to help prevent flies and other insects from getting into your property when windows or doors are left open, especially kitchens under new health regulations. The blinds are constructed from approved fine steel mesh fabric coated to prevent rusting, in the form of a roller or sheet screen in a framework of channels with brush inserts so that insects can not find their way in. The mesh is very fine, lets the light and air through, when opened, allowing the window to stay open. Blinds are either fitted as sliding panels covering the whole window, or as a roller over the actual opening section, giving a neat and tidy look, leaving the rest of the glazed area free for light. The roller, as shown to the left, is only opened once the window is in the open position, the framework being fitted to the frame of the window giving a tight seal. Screens can be made to fit on external doors, both single and double, being fitted as above, just larger and side on. General Information
