Most blinds can be cleaned with a damp cloth, and some by machine, further details below: Machine Wash 1) Carefully remove louvres from headrail, one at a time, and remove the weights and chains. 2) Place the louvres on top of each other with the top hem just slightly below the other, line them up and straighten so as not to crease. 3) Tightly roll up the louvres, keeping the edges in line, ensuring the roll is no bigger than 8" (200mm), if they exceed this, the louvres will have to be split, then tie tight enough to hold without distorting the fabric. 4) Place one roll inside a pillow case and knot it to secure it, only one roll to be washed at a time. 5) Spinning cycles can damage the louvres, so must be switched off. The machine is set to "woollens, 40'C or gentle wash", a mild detergent can be used, the wash being allowed to rinse either 2 or 3 times.
